Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 8, 2026
Takeaminute ("we," "us," or "our") operates the takeaminute.tv website and mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. Please read this policy carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and profile photo (if provided or sourced from a third-party authentication provider).
- Payment information: When you purchase a subscription or coins, your payment details (such as credit card number, billing address, and transaction history) are collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
- Communications: If you contact us via email or through the Service, we may retain the content of your messages along with your contact information.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, shows watched, episodes unlocked, watch history, and time spent on the platform.
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, screen resolution, and language preferences.
- Log data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and error logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyze usage patterns. See Section 10 for details.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Social login providers: If you sign in using Google, Facebook, or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from those providers as permitted by your account settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including video streaming, account management, and content personalization.
- To process transactions, manage subscriptions, and handle coin purchases through Stripe.
- To authenticate your identity and secure your account via Firebase Authentication.
- To send transactional communications such as payment confirmations, account verification emails, and password reset links.
- To analyze usage trends and improve the Service using analytics tools.
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and optimize ad delivery.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Authentication
We use Firebase Authentication, a service provided by Google LLC, to manage user accounts. Firebase Auth supports email/password login as well as third-party identity providers (Google, Facebook, and Apple). When you sign in, Firebase processes your authentication credentials and issues a secure token used to identify your session. Firebase may collect device identifiers and IP addresses for security and abuse-prevention purposes. For more information, see Firebase's Privacy Policy.
4. Payment Processing
All payment transactions are processed through Stripe, Inc. When you make a purchase (subscription or coin package), your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe via their secure, PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure. We receive only a limited confirmation of the transaction (such as the last four digits of your card, transaction ID, amount, and subscription status). We do not store, process, or have access to your full payment card details. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your data.
5. Analytics
We use PostHog, a product analytics platform, to understand how users interact with the Service. PostHog collects event data such as page views, button clicks, feature usage, and session information. This data helps us identify issues, measure feature adoption, and improve the user experience. PostHog may collect device type, browser information, and anonymized IP addresses. You can learn more at PostHog's Privacy Policy.
6. Advertising and Conversion Tracking
We use Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) and the Meta Conversions API (CAPI) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).
- Meta Pixel is a JavaScript snippet that runs in your browser and sends event data (such as page views and purchases) to Meta. It may use cookies to track conversions across sessions.
- Conversions API (CAPI) is a server-side integration that sends conversion events (such as purchases) directly from our server to Meta. Data sent may include hashed email addresses and transaction details.
You can manage your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences. See Meta's Privacy Policy for more information.
7. Video Delivery
Video content is delivered through Bunny CDN (BunnyCDN Ltd.), a content delivery network. When you stream a video, Bunny CDN may collect your IP address, device information, and request headers to deliver content efficiently and prevent abuse. Bunny CDN does not use this data for advertising purposes. For details, see Bunny CDN's Privacy Policy.
8. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We share data with third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., Firebase, Stripe, PostHog, Meta, Bunny CDN), solely for the purposes described in this policy.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process (e.g., a subpoena, court order, or government request).
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
- Safety and enforcement: We may disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of Takeaminute, our users, or the public.
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
- Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account and deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- Payment records are retained for up to 7 years as required for tax and financial compliance.
- Analytics data is retained in an aggregated or anonymized form and may persist beyond account deletion.
- Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.
10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

| Type | Purpose | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Authentication sessions, security tokens | Firebase |
| Analytics | Usage tracking, feature analytics | PostHog |
| Advertising | Conversion tracking, ad optimization | Meta Pixel |

13. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@takeaminute.tv.
14. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
